Unfortunately I curbed my rims which was scuffed up pretty bad. I appreciate the technician being honest with me telling me the paint wouldn’t be a 100% match since I had cnc wheels. The paint was overall pretty hard to tell that it was slightly off. Technician also pointed out chips I had on the wheels which were painted over. Getting my rim fixed took less than 30 minutes! Overall, it was a quick and painless experience. The service was a little expensive, definitely more than other places in the GTA, but it was much more convenient. We are a single-car family and I appreciated that I didn’t have to worry about drop-off and pick-up. The technician (Nick) was very friendly and explained the process to us before and after. I had a bend on one of my BMW m sport rims. I called the rim guy and he had technician come and inspect the rim the next day. The technician was friendly, very professional and considerate. He wanted to do a good job so he requested to take the rim back to his shop to get done right. Had the rim back to me in just a few hours and was good as new! Wheel was balanced and cleaned for me, ready to mount back on and that was it. All this while I didn’t have to miss work and did it right in the parking lot. The rim guy kept in good contact and was checking in to see how everything was going. I had an excellent experience with The Rim Guy, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service and the final result. This was my first time ever having a rim repaired, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. After dealing with the potholes throughout the GTA, I ended up with a dented rims and was initially thinking that I might have to replace it completely. I’ve gone through tones of rims due to potholes and figured it would be nice to try something new and fix it for once. What really stood out to me right from the beginning was the fact that The Rim Guy is a mobile service. Instead of having to drive to a shop, drop my vehicle off, or sit around for hours waiting for the repair to be completed, Juan came directly to me. That level of convenience made a huge difference. For someone with a busy schedule, this is honestly one of the biggest advantages of using a mobile service. I didn’t have to take time out of my day to sit in a waiting room or figure out transportation while my vehicle was being worked on. Juan came to my location, handled the repair right there, and allowed me to continue with my day. It made the entire process incredibly easy and convenient. Juan was also extremely professional and, more importantly, very detailed. Since this was my first time ever having a rim repaired, I had a lot of questions about what was actually involved. Rather than just taking care of the repair without explanation, Juan walked me through the entire process and showed me exactly what was wrong with the rim and what he was going to do to fix it. I really appreciated that level of transparency. He took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense and showed me what he was working on. It gave me a lot of confidence that the repair was being done properly and not just quickly. And the final result was excellent. Once the repair was completed, I was genuinely impressed with how good the rim looked. The finished product was clean, professional, and looked like the damage had never happened. I would say it’s back to OEM specs and no dent can be noticed when spinning on the wheel machine. After taking for a spin I can confidently say all vibrations are gone. Living in the GTA, potholes are unfortunately something we all have to deal with. Between the winter weather, road construction, and seemingly endless potholes, it’s very easy to damage your wheels. The first thought for many people including myself when they damage a rim is probably, “I need to buy a new one.” After my experience with The Rim Guy, I would strongly recommend getting the rim inspected and repaired before spending the money on a replacement. If the damage can be properly repaired, there’s no reason to immediately spend hundreds or potentially much more on a brand-new rim when you can have your existing one restored to an excellent condition. The combination of mobile service, convenience, professionalism, attention to detail, and quality workmanship really made this a great experience for me. Juan was knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and delivered exactly what I was hoping for. I would absolutely recommend The Rim Guy to anyone who has damaged a rim, especially if you’re in the GTA and don’t want to waste half a day sitting at a repair shop. Having someone come directly to you and complete the repair while you carry on with your day is incredibly convenient. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the experience and the outcome. Juan did an amazing job, the mobile service was extremely convenient, and the rim looks fantastic. If you’ve hit one of the many potholes around the GTA and dented your rim, don’t automatically assume you need to buy a new one. Give The Rim Guy a call and see if it can be repaired first.
