OUR WARRANTY POLICY

At The Rim Guy, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship. We offer different warranties based on the type of service performed.

1-Year Limited Warranty (Cosmetic Repairs)

This warranty applies to our cosmetic refinishing services, including curb rash repair, paint, and powder coating. We guarantee that for a period of one (1) year from the date of service, the finish of the repaired rim will not peel, flake, or bubble under normal driving conditions. If such a defect occurs as a result of our process, we will repair that rim again at no extra charge. This warranty does not cover damage from new impacts, curb strikes, cleaning chemicals, or improper tire mounting.

Structural Repair (Crack Welding and Bents)

Services involving the structural repair of a wheel, such as crack welding or bent repairs, are performed on a best-effort basis. We provide a 7-day (one week) grace period from the date of service completion for the client to inspect the repair.

If the client determines the original repair was not fixed correctly, a claim must be made within this 7-day period. We will re-perform the service (redo the repair) at no extra charge. After this 7-day period, all structural repair services are considered final, and the warranty is void.

Please note: A cracked rim is permanently compromised. Even after welding, it remains susceptible to re-fracturing from new road impacts (e.g., potholes, curbs). This policy only covers the immediate quality of the repair performed, not the long-term integrity of the wheel or any new damage. By ordering this service, the client acknowledges and accepts this risk and agrees that no refunds or redo requests will be honored after the 7-day claim period.
